Everyone says that this game has no story and all the characters are the same and once you’ve played the first few levels, you’ve seen all the game can offer. But, everyone is wrong. I’ve played for 50 hours and not seen all there is to see. I’ve gotten most of the trophies (I played on the PS5), but not all of them. The end A man spent his life caring for his sickly brother. When his brother passed on, the man went to the Academy to find new meaning to his life. As he approached the Academy, he saw a dog waiting for him. When he looked into the dog’s eyes, he saw his brother looking back at him. Together, they entered the labyrinth. ...

Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, and now Persona 5 Strikers. The Persona 5 legacy lives on in this new, action-oriented chapter in the story of Joker & Friends as they seek to save the innocent people of Shibuya, once again. Futaba warns us about Shadows I have not yet finished Persona 5 Strikers, so this is more of a quick look than a full review. ...

DC Universe Online has had a problem. It’s the most popular of Daybreak’s MMOs, but its spandex tights flies under the radar of most MMO players. Recent content dumps (called “episodes”) are still very crowded. Recent changes to show exactly how many players are in each zone (and across how many instances) shows that the most recent hub areas support hundreds of players at any time of the day – and this isn’t counting the Nintendo Switch players, who have their own sets of servers. ...

Rise Eterna claims to be a modern successor to the legendary tactical rpgs of the past. Can Rise Eterna really wear Final Fantasy Tactics’ crown?

When you REALLY want to play DCUO, but all you have is the Switch…

I was looking for something light and frothy in the Switch eShop’s list of new games that they thought I might like. I only glanced briefly at “The Innsmouth Case”, a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure-style text adventurer set in the Lovecraft mythos, and then went past it to look at more graphically intensive games. But I kept thinking about it. The writing in the screenshots given was pretty funny. The trailer advertised twenty seven different endings. The characters looked to be a huge and wacky departure from the grim madness of unimproved Lovecraft. It was cheap. I took a chance. ...

A decent light workout for those who enjoy rhythm games, but it won’t teach you much about boxing.

One really nice thing about playing a long, involved game like Assassins Creed Valhalla is that I don’t have to think about what game I want to play when I’m done work and chores in the evening. For the past month, it’s been off to Valhalla for a few hours. It’s the same feeling I get when I’m seriously into an MMO and logging in and saying hello to the guild is just a great start to an evening. ...

I’m not as big a collector of Mahjong games as my boyfriend is; he has a really impressive collection of both import and domestic games for the SNES (even leaving the solitaire mahjong games aside, there’s an impressive number). But, even though I am nothing more than a beginner, I do like playing the game and am always looking out for something new. While standing in line for Stellazzio Virtual Theater’s production of “Phantom of the Opera” last night (their productions are held entirely within Final Fantasy XIV, making them the perfect socially-distanced night on the town), I grew bored with waiting and chatting with my FC and picked up my Switch. ...
