To celebrate Halloween, Kasul and I traveled to Webways in Marlborough, Massachusetts for a Carver Day tournament. Carver Day?

No, really. Since I learned that the Master’s Tower, one of the three towers in that floating castle, dropped an extremely rare pet, I’ve had just one goal in Wizard 101: Continually run that tower in the hopes of getting that rare pet. I even made an alt to help run that tower. I don’t know how many times I ran the tower, never got the pet. I definitely would have liked to have gotten the pet, but recently, I was really resenting those STUPID FIRE MOBS with those STUPID FIRE DOTS. Hate them SO MUCH. ...

Loping Plains hasn’t seen THIS much action since the Freethinkers threw that Christmas party and the Pumpkin-Headed Horseman barfed seeds and pulp all over Mayong Mistmoore. Everyone was talking about that for months. So anyway, Ettie and I head over to Loping Plains to see what’s up. Some goblin over in Freeport was talking up stuff about some “really cool” thing over there, “a lot of fun”. So I asked the gobber if, like, I was going to die or something. “No, no, no, you no die,” said the gobber. “Be fun, you. You just go graveyard there, fun time!” ...

I didn’t intend to spend all night playing Wizard 101, but after I finished the Hallowe’en quests and finished the Krokotopia quests I’d ignored to get to Marleybone, I met up with a couple of friends and we spent the night working on Hyde Park quests. So this is going to be kind of a long post. Wizard City was decorated in Hallowe’en colors. The staff had scary standees all over the place, but the staff was scarier. Jack Hallows was in the Commons, giving out quests; and Bob from Bob’s Discount Crown Gear was in the Shopping District, selling RMT costumes, pets and staves. ...
