The Crypt of Befallen v2, AKA “Newfallen”, is now live in Neverwinter! It’s an entirely re-imagined and rebuilt dungeon based on the classic EverQuest dungeon. The evil Rethkan has killed Marnek, the traditional master of Befallen (who was resurrected by the necromancer Menizzia in the previous version of the dungeon). And now a young gnome girl will become his latest victim… unless you can save her. Three+ completely custom levels, full of traps, hidden rooms, and a few surprises. Kill the shadow knights. Meet, battle and perhaps free Skeleton L’Rodd. Kill Rethkan’s allies. Temporarily join an adventuring party. And brave the dangers of the Well… if you dare. ...

A long time ago, in a pseudo-MMO far away, I captured some Clone Wars Adventures gameplay and posted it up on Youtube. I didn’t add any music or anything – just left the game background music as it was. About a month ago, I got a notice that someone claimed I was infringing on their copyright by showing the game video with the uncut music. I disputed it, claiming fair use, and they disputed it back. I ran through the original EverQuest version of my newly rewritten Neverwinter foundry quest, “The Crypt of Befallen”… so if you wanna see what a classic #EverQuest dungeon looks like today, here ’tis, running the special “Plight of the Undead” solo quest. Also, you get to see me remember how to play my mage. Just be thankful I cut out all the Plane of Tranquility stuff; I parked her there years ago. I also had to cut the quest finishing up in Ak’anon for time reasons. ...

Well, holy crap. This changes everything. A Befallen module for the EverQuest P&P RPG. They have one for Freeport, too…Befallen Once it was a fortress temple for the paladins of Marr, but only evil now lurks in Befallen. A primal, nameless evil that calls to its own, bringing Norrath’s most fiendish villains to its depths - only to rob them of their sanity and add their malevolence to its own growing power. How long will this accursed place throw its shadow over the Commonlands? How long until heroes rise to the challenge of redeeming these once holy grounds? ...
