After their meeting in Frozen Wilds, I never expected to see Gildun again – but when he appeared again in the first DLC for Horizon Forbidden West, The Burning Shores, what happened shocked even me. So, it’s been a busy month in Pokémon since the last post. I finished Pokémon Shield – loved it, have started on Pokemon Violet, and things have progressed somewhat in Pokémon Go. I haven’t met Giovanni again, yet. So, I don’t know what he has for me when he does crawl out of whatever hole he’s dug. I’ve been raiding – a lot – in Pokémon Go, lately. My level has been slowly creeping up. The end goal, level 50, seems out of reach – even if I had the xp for it, there are leveling quests that must be completed. The level 50 quest includes making 999 “excellent” Pokeball throws. Yeaaaaaaaah not happening. I imagine I will stop playing the game entirely before I have to worry about that, though. ...

Okay, what is actually UP with that Latias raid?

With both Pokémon Go and Pokémon Sword & Shield going on, it’s pretty much peak Pokémon at the moment.

When anyone thinks of gun-centric shooter RPGs, they naturally think first of Cyberpunk 2077 and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. Which is the best bang for your bullet?

I mean, there must be some reason why I was unable to play any other game until I played through Skyrim and all three of its expansions…

We’ve been really enjoying this board game version of Skyrim the last couple of family game nights… but maybe it is a little TOO faithful to the videogame?
